Sync

Jannah Loontjens (poet, writer, philosopher) and Emilie Gallier (choreographer) encounter on the border between poetry and choreography. Synchronicity – as being together with one’s time and together with one another – and Dorsality – as a turn to what is at the back, out of sight – are their points of departure.
The project will end with the publication of a book that will gather the poem, and the choreography on paper (score), together with an essay written by Daniel Rovers (writer). This publication is a platform for the choreographer to probe the writing of movements of thoughts, and to turn to the spectator as reader, observer, and performer.
